These U of T communicators received awards for excellence in communications:

Student Communications at the Faculty of Arts & Science received the IABC Gold Quill Award, award of merit for their welcome guide There is So Much Here for You. They also received a CASE district II gold award and an honourable mention award for the welcome guide in two separate categories, and an honourable mention award for the Faculty’s Surrounded by Opportunity 2017 Viewbook.The Faculty of Arts & Science Advancement Communications team received an IABC Award of Merit for the publication ArtSci Effect: Your Philanthropy in Action 15/16.

The Engineering Strategic Communications team received the international IABC Gold Quill Award of Merit in digital communications for their #displayyourpride initiative. From the IABC Toronto Ovation Awards they received the Award of Excellence for Skulematters: the Future of Health-Care Engineering as well as an award of excellence for digital content for the “Welcome to Skule” microsite. The team also received two CASE District II Accolades Awards: a gold award for the “Welcome to Skule” microsite and another gold award for the CEIExSKAM Graffiti Installation.
They received a CCAE Prix d’Excellence for the outreach event Innovate U, as well as an RGD In-house Award for the CEIExSKAM Graffiti Installation. -
University of Toronto Communications' digital creative services team received the CASE District II Silver Accolades Award for the design and launch of the Utoronto.ca website.
