The university professor in the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering is the 2017 Killam Prize winner. She is a Canada Research Chair in Tissue Engineering, recognized for her work in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering and drug delivery, for everything from curing blindness to strokes.
