U of T Black Law Students Association recognized by national student body

The University of Toronto’s Black Law Students’ Association has received the Small Chapter of the Year Award from the Black Law Students’ Association of Canada (BLSAC).

The award was presented earlier this year at the BLSAC’s conference in Quebec City.

In collaboration with the Faculty of Law, the Black legal community and alumni, U of T’s BLSA chapter recently launched its Black Future Lawyers program, with the goal of engaging and supporting Black-identified undergraduate students who are interested in studying law, as well as current Black law students.
